Colombian Camilo Villegas led by the American David Toms the Human Challenge Course, which belongs to the American PGA circuit at the end of the first day of the tournament.
Villegas and Toms cards signed trails, 63 strokes under par-nine, with nine birdies and no ‘bogeis’.
In a further blow them are three Americans, Ted Potter Jr., Brandt Snedeker and Bob Estes, and Korean Bae Sang-Moon.
The Argentinian Miguel Angel Carballo, with 69 hits, and Venezuelan Jhonattan Vegas, with 70, complete the American representation in the tournament.
The Human Challenge sponsor change replaced by the Bob Hope Classic in La Quinta (California, USA), the only PGA Tour event to be held in five instead of four days. In this new stage, re-played from Thursday to Sunday.
As reported by the direction of the tournament, the winner will pocket more than a million dollars of the 5.6 million total prize.
